Alamodome
Iron Maiden is back and will be performing at the Alamodome in San Antonio Texas on September 29, 2026. The show will mark the band's 50th anniversary.
Bruce Dickinson will pilot a set list that includes many of the bands classic epic songs such as "The Trooper", "Hallowed Be Thy Name" and "Rime of the Ancient Mariner," which clocks in at over 13 minutes.
Also opening for Iron Maiden are two other Big 4 thrash legends; Megadeth and Anthrax. Megadeth will open up the night playing some of their most popular songs including "Symphony of Destruction," "Holy Wars," and "Hangar 18." Anthrax will close out the first half of the show by getting the crowd pumped up and moshing with their biggest hits like "Caught in a Mosh," "Indians," and "Madhouse."
All Big 4 bands have sold out many shows throughout their careers but this will be their largest showing to date, with an expected 77,000 fans attending. Tickets will go on sale now, and are expected to sell very quickly, so don't wait long to get yours.
Three generations of heavy metal royalty unite for one explosive night as Iron Maiden headlines their monumental Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026, celebrating 50 years since their 1975 formation. Joining the NWOBHM legends are "Big Four" thrash icons Megadeth and Anthrax in a triple-bill so powerful that it’s already selling out stadiums worldwide.
Iron Maiden delivers a 50th anniversary setlist that focuses on the first nine albums from 1980 to 1992, so expect deep cuts like the 13-minute-plus “Rime of the Ancient Mariner” alongside “The Trooper,” “Hallowed Be Thy Name,” and “Run to the Hills.” The undead mascot Eddie returns in full stadium-scale glory with pyro, lasers, and massive visuals timed for sunset. Bruce Dickinson soars as the pilot-turned-metal god while Steve Harris drives the galloping bass and twin guitars from Murray and Smith deliver harmonized chaos. This marks the first major tour without Nicko McBrain, who retired in 2024, with Simon Dawson stepping in on drums. Bruce promises a true “setlist for the ages,” and it will be delivered.
Dave Mustaine’s revenge began in 1983, and now Megadeth stands as a "Big Four" legend. The set roars with “Symphony of Destruction,” “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due,” “Peace Sells,” “Hangar 18,” and “Tornado of Souls.” These Grammy winners from 2017 still shred harder than ever.
Anthrax brings NYC thrash as the East Coast voice of the "Big Four." Joey Belladonna’s clean vocals of “Caught in a Mosh,” “Indians,” “Madhouse,” and “Antisocial.” Scott Ian’s rhythm and Charlie Benante’s double-kick ignite the mosh pit. As rap-metal pioneers, they carry “Bring the Noise” vibes in every riff.
The Alamodome seats nearly 77,000, making this one of Iron Maiden’s biggest North American headline shows ever. Concert configuration includes full end-stage production with 360° visuals and massive LED screens. The venue operates cashless and enforces a clear bag policy. Pre-purchase parking is recommended, and VIA Metropolitan Transit routes are available.
